Recently I had a patient who died from tapeworm in the brain. The man was from Mexico.
He had come to my facility from a large university hospital. When I sat down and talked with the family I was astounded that no one at a major medical center had advised this family to have all members checked out for parasites. As more immigrants from Mexico arrive more of these casess are being seen. Have you eaten at a Mexican Resturaunt Lately?………………………………..
